Congratulations to the Wickes Lady Warriors on their victory last night in the State Tournament.  They play again this Friday at 1:00 pm.

Forestry and Land Competition today Wednesday and District CDE’s are this Friday at SAU.

Announcements for Wednesday, March 3, 2010

• Seniors need to go to the library during intervention on Thursday of this week.

• Applications for the 2010 Burl Hedge Scholarship can be picked up from Mrs. Hennard.  They are due on April 16.  Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

• We have applications for the MASH program from both Ft. Smith and Nashville.  Applications for Ft. Smith MASH must be postmarked by April 20, 2010 and is open to incoming juniors and seniors.  Applications for the Nashville MASH program must be received by March 19, 2010 and is open to current 9-11 grade students. 

   
The goal of MASH is to demonstrate the correlation between the student’s science courses and future career options.  Secondly, MASH allows students to observe and visit with as many different health care professionals as possible.  

Applications may be picked up from Mrs. Hennard.  (We have not yet received MASH applications from Mena).

Please remind the students that Friday, March 5, 2010 is the postmark registration deadline for the April 10 ACT.

Attention students:  If the Lady Warriors win today, we will run a fan bus tomorrow night to Carlisle.  It will leave the school at 1:30 pm.  Please sign up in the office if you wish to go.  The cost will be three dollars per person.  The bus has only 65 passengers so first come first serve. 

Wickes Lady Warriors play Hughes today at 1:00 pm in the State Tournament.
